Description
Even being in different regions of the globe with economic, cultural and health assistance in completely different perspectives Latin America and Middle East have been presenting a marked increase in numbers and acceptation of bariatric/metabolic procedures with more and more surgeons and qualified teams with fully dedication in bariatric/metabolic centers of excellence. This course will explore similarities and disparities in between both regions looking for understanding the current issues and future perspectives, comparing the portfolio of procedures and the reasons for preferences for the different techniques and how we can understand these data in a worldwide view.
