Biography

I am a Post-doctoral Research Fellow with experience of working on inflammation and Immunobiology of human diseases. My research interest is in elucidating the mechanistic aspects of inflammation and pathophysiology of the disease at molecular and cellular level. As a Research Associate, I have worked on asthma and effect of IL-13 on bronchial hyper-responsiveness and corticosteroid resistant asthma. My research focuses on signaling pathways involved in inflammation-mediated pathology to elucidate the novel therapeutic targets and develop a deep insight into immune regulation and immune response in inflammatory diseases. I have worked on investigating the mediators of inflammation and inflammation resolution in asthma and now working on esophageal adenocarcinoma.
