Biography
Dr. Lillian Craggs-Dino, DHA, RDN, LDN, is a nationally and internationally known Registered and Licensed Dietitian with more than 20 years professional experience in bariatric nutrition. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University.
In addition to her private consulting company, she is an adjunct assistant professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine Nutrition Program and Allopathic Medical School.
Dr. Lillian is also the Bariatric Dietitian and Support Group Coordinator for the Bariatric and Metabolic Institute at Cleveland Clinic Florida. She currently serves on the Integrated Health Executive Council for the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS-IH), and she is the past Co-Chair of the ASMBS-IH Florida, Puerto Rico, and Caribbean Chapter. She is the co-chair of the ASMBS Integrated Health Clinical Issues Committee, and a working member of the Support Group Committee with the ASMBS. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) where she served as a committee member of the Evidence Analysis Library (EAL) for Bariatric Surgery. She is a member of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO) and immerses herself in the field of weight management, wellness, and nutrition-related disease prevention and treatment. She is a highly sought after presenter, lecturer, faculty, and practitioner.
Dr. Lillian has received numerous awards including Outstanding Professional Leadership, Outstanding Scholarship Achievement, and Collegiate Leadership Award. In 2021, she was the recipient of the prestigious LEAD Award for Excellence in Nutrition, given by the ASMBS Foundation. She has written several publications on bariatric nutrition including the Nutritional Guidelines for the Surgical Weight Loss Patient 2016 Update: Micronutrients and Chapter 5: “Inadequate Weight Loss and Weight Regain after Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery" in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Pocket Guide to Bariatric Surgery, 3rd Ed. Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group.
