Biography

Federika Garcia is a Registered Dietitian and Board-Certified Nutrition Support Clinician with over five years of experience. In her current role at the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Federika is a Senior Clinical Dietitian in Oncology and serves as the Nutrition Support Team Dietitian managing all oncology patients on home TPN and bone marrow transplant (BMT) patients on TPN. 

Federika specializes in the fields of nutrition support, medical nutrition therapy for cancers of the gastrointestinal tract and surgical oncology, nutrient malabsorption, and micronutrient deficiencies.

Previously, Federika served as the only dietitian at the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Program at Mount Sinai Medical Center where she assisted in the establishment and development of the nutrition program and its related protocols for patients before and after surgery.
