Biography

I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs before attending Rice University where I played volleyball and received my B.A. in Human Physiology. I then obtained by BSN from Texas Woman’s University and moved to the Kansas City area. I have been a registered nurse for over 25 years at AdventHealth. Currently I am the Bariatric Program Coordinator for a large volume center that performs more than 1500 surgeries annually. I recently received by Bariatric Nurse Certification.
