Biography

My name is Huy Hoang, and I am an advanced minimally invasive/bariatric surgery fellow from Fresno, California. I was born and raised in Vietnam. I came to the United States when I was 18 years old. I graduated from the University of California, Davis School and Medicine. I finished my general surgery residency in 2020. I’m currently in my second year of advanced minimally invasive/bariatric surgery fellowship. This year, I have had the opportunities to perform advanced bariatric cases such as duodenal switch, gastric bypass distalization, etc.
