Biography

Crystal N. Johnson-Mann, MD is an assistant professor and minimally invasive/bariatric surgeon within the division of gastrointestinal surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Dr. Johnson-Mann obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. She matriculated through medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, South Carolina and completed her residency at the same institution. She completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the University of Virginia Health System and is board certified in General surgery by the American Board of Surgery.

Her clinical and research interests include bariatric surgery, anti-reflux surgery, gastroesophageal reflux disease, minimally invasive hernia repair, and equity in healthcare access, delivery, and outcomes.
