Biography
Melissa is a registered dietitian and works as bariatric coordinator for Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, Georgia, where she lives with her husband and two kids. She is the ASMBS IH Program Planning Co-Chair and this year’s recipient of the ASMBS Foundation Nutrition in Excellence LEAD Award. Majumdar has been an Academy of Nutrition media spokesperson for the past 5 years and is co-editor of the Academy’s recently updated Pocket Guide for Bariatric Surgery.
