Biography
Dr. Petrick is the Director of Bariatric and Foregut Surgery for the Geisinger Health System. He has been Director of the Geisinger Bariatric and Foregut Fellowship for over 20 years and is the Chief Quality Officer for Inpatients Services for the Geisinger Health System.
He serves as Chairman of the ASMBS Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Committee as well as the Data and Quality Committee of MBSAQIP.
Dr. Petrick was the principle investigator for the most recent MBSAQIP National Quality Improvement Project, Bariatric Surgery Targeting Opioids (BSTOP).
