Biography
Dr. Timothy Schaffner is a board-certified, fellowship trained Minimally Invasive General and Bariatric surgeon. Dr. Schaffner is currently serving as a Major in the US Air Force, with his primary practice at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Schaffner has an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Surgery at the F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine at Uniformed Services University, Bethesda, MD. Dr. Schaffner’s interests include primary and revisional Bariatric Surgery, anti-reflux procedures, minimally invasive abdominal wall reconstruction, and acute care general surgery.
