Biography

Dan Schauer is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. He completed medical school and residency training at the University of Cincinnati and then completed an outcomes research fellowship at UC and Harvard University School of Public Health. His methodological expertise is in the decision sciences, patient-centered outcomes and comparative effectiveness research. Much of his current research is focused on obesity and outcomes associated with bariatric surgery.
