Biography
Tiffany Son received her Bachelor’s Degree in 2011 in Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology and was then awarded her Master’s in Science in 2012 in Tucson. She completed her General Surgery Residency training in 2021 at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
She has been an invited speaker at national and regional conferences and has presented on titles Failure to Rescue in Post-Op Patients with Colon Cancer and on Physician Suicide.
In 2019, she completed an International/Global Elective Surgical Rotation at the Groote Schuur Hospital in Capetown, South Africa in Acute Care and General Surgery. She is a member in good standing with National Organizations: American College of Surgeons, Association of Women in Surgery, and the Society of Asian Academic Surgeons. Dr. Son is completing an MIS Bariatric Advanced GI Fellowship with Banner Gateway.
