Biography
Gretchen White, PhD is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Clinical Research Education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. White’s research is diverse and spans the topics of bariatric surgery outcomes, obesity, alcohol use, substance use, and occupational lung disease. She has an overarching interest in epidemiological methods, particularly those related to the design, conduct, and analysis of observational studies, clinical trials, and complex surveys. Dr. White has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in well-respected, high-impact journals.
