Biography
Lora Grabow, LMSW is a professional therapist and coach who has spent two decades working specifically with bariatric patients in one-on-one therapy, support groups and group workshops. Today, she also coaches patients in her online community and in her online course, Foundations in Headwork for Healthy Weight Loss. She helps all her patients tackle the barriers that have kept them from making change permanent and keeping the weight off for good. Lora also partners with medical providers and educational institutions to empower their patients to holistically change their lives by understanding the often missing piece of the bariatric surgery treatment plan: headwork. Throughout her professional career, Lora has been an active member of ASMBS and has enjoyed serving on the interdisciplinary committee and currently serves on the surgical support group committee. She has enjoyed participating in ASMBS state and national meetings as both a speaker and co-director of scientific sessions.
