Biography

Ciara Lopez BSN, RN is a certified bariatric nurse who is presently the bariatric coordinator of the bariatric surgery and metabolic medicine at AdventHealth in Celebration, FL. In addition to serving as program coordinator, Ciara is in charge of bariatric patient education, bariatric information sessions and author/editor of the program’s monthly bariatric newsletter. She is an active member of ASMBS and IFSO and over the last few years has given 4 podium talks at ASMBS, 3 at IFSO, and has authored or co-authored a number of posters.
